With a stylish, modern feel and located just a short distance from Sheffield city centre, these two-bedroom apartments are a city lovers dream.
There are currently two apartments to rent in this newly built riverside development; one unfurnished and one furnished.
The lounge and dining areas have a bright and spacious feel, and the open-plan layout makes it perfect for entertaining; a great place to eat and relax. The large windows let light flood into the room, and also offer fantastic views of the River Don.
The stylish kitchens are fully equipped with oven and hob, washer/dryer and under the counter fridge. Both have a modern and fresh feel, with plenty of room to create home-cooked meals, giving you no excuse for late night takeaways (although there are plenty of delicious ones in the area!).
The large double bedrooms have soft carpet to give a cosy feel, and come with plenty of storage space for those who have vast wardrobes! The three-piece bathroom suites include over-the-bath showers, so you can relax after a long day.
The development is in a secure, gated community with intercom access, giving you piece of mind in your new home. For those who drive, parking is available, but a short walk to the train station makes commuting a breeze.
The furnished apartment includes a leather sofa, dining table with four chairs, two double beds and two chests of drawers, great for those just starting out.
The Foster flats within the Millsands development are perfectly located just a stone’s throw from Sheffield city centre, which offers a host of eclectic bars and restaurants, as well as great shopping locations and music venues.
A five minutes walk from the train station offers easy access for commuters, or those looking to explore, with direct trains to Leeds, Manchester, London and more. Both the apartments’ style and location make it the perfect place for working professionals to live, who want to take advantage of all that Sheffield has to offer.
Places to eat/drink
Sheffield city centre offers a huge choice of places to eat out for every taste, from big chain restaurants to small independent eateries full of character. Bloo 88 is known for its delicious cocktails and pizzas, whilst Bungalows & Bears serves the best burgers in the city. For upmarket eats visit Loch Fyne, Marco’s and Piccolino, or stuff your face on a budget at U Buffet on West Street. St Paul’s Place, Leopold Square and Eccy Road are the best areas to find an array of different restaurants if you just can’t decide.
Nowhere does pubs quite like the Steel City does. If you’re looking for a real, gritty pub check out the Harley, or go just down the road to Rev De Cuba for style on a budget. The Wick at Both Ends is a cosy and friendly pub with a great homely feel, and Riverside has the perfect beer garden for summer days. For a quirky hang out and eclectic drinks head to The Forum or Picture House Social, and for a slice of Latino heaven get a round (or two) of drinks in at Cubana. One of Sheffield’s best bars has to be The Great Gatsby, with an intimate and edgy atmosphere, a varied selection of drinks, and newly opened exclusive Daisy’s Bar upstairs; it has everything you need for a great night.
Sheffield city centre shopping may be small, but there’s some great independent shops and vintage stores that will makes your outfits stand out from the crowd. There’s all of your favourite stores as well including Topshop, River Island, Boots and many more.
Sheffield is also home to one of the largest and most popular shopping centres in the country: Meadowhall (or Meadowhell as locals calls it). This enormous shopping centre has literally everything you need; all kinds if shops, restaurants, snack bars, and a cinema. All this is just a short tram/train ride away (tip: train is faster!).
And if all this isn’t quite enough for you, Leeds city centre is just a 40 minutes train journey away, where the Trinity Centre will fulfil all your shopping needs.
