White winter wonderland

Even if it’s not a white Christmas outside, it definitely will be inside with this winter wonderland theme. Think all white decorations with hints of ice blue, snowflake baubles and prints, icicle lights and a snow frosted Christmas tree with a glittery snowflake on top. Go with sparkly, crystal and translucent textures to give that icy winter feel.

Charming rustic

Bring the outdoors into your home with this nature-inspired rustic theme. Decorate with logs and wooden details, real pine cones, holly and wreaths (if possible), woven textures, lanterns and woodland creature ornaments. Keep everything really natural and try your hand at some homemade decorations for an extra charming feel.

Glamorous rose gold

If nothing less than full on glamour will do, decorate your home with glitter and the colour of the year; rose gold. Don’t hold back with this theme, go for full on sparkle and glitter, twinkly lights, a lavishly decorated tree and super luxe wrapping paper. Make sure everything is dripping in gold, pink and rose gold.

Minimalist

On the complete opposite end of the scale, if you like to keep things simple or aren’t really the festive kind, a minimalist theme is ideal. Simply put up a conservatively decorated tree, keep decorations white or plain and hang up some a string of fairy lights.

Tropical Christmas

If you hate the cold season and want something completely different, give your Christmas decor a tropical edge! Choose rich jewel tones in emerald-green, purple and blue. Give your home an exotic feel with colourful wildlife decorations, tropical prints and gold embellishments.
