If you have some spare time, you can also volunteer at the library for any role, with an open day being held on June 11th.
The village is also the location of Lund’s Tower which is great for a family stroll with stunning views, especially if you climb up the tower where you can see for miles! The nearby village of Cross Hills has some great pubs and eateries including Zolsha and The Old White Bear, and is home to the Naylor’s Brewery. A 15 minute drive will take you to Keighley, where you will find historical attractions such as Cliffe Castle Park & Museum, Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, and the Bronte Parsonage Museum. Venture up towards Skipton for incredible walks around the Yorkshire Dales and Nidderdale, or make the journey to Leeds for amazing shops and restaurants.
